Key points

  • Peer Copy is a limited, private and invite-only software feature. It is not a public marketplace or discovery service.
  • A Follower independently requests access using an Invite Key and the associated Master email address, then configures their own Destination, sizing, execution settings, protection and risk limits.
  • A Master can accept and activate a fully configured relationship but cannot control the Follower’s broker account or see the Follower’s capital, positions, trades, profit, loss or personal Analytics.
  • A Master may have no more than 50 Follower Relationships in Active or Paused state at the same time. Each separately activated Source-to-Destination relationship counts separately.
  • No payment, subscription, revenue share, benefit or other consideration may be requested, offered, paid or received in connection with Peer Copy, whether inside or outside CopierPilot.
  • Copied trades may be transmitted automatically. Mandatory and Follower-configured controls may hold an instruction for confirmation, prevent execution or pause copying, but they cannot eliminate trading or technology risk.
  • Funds and trading accounts remain with each user’s broker or account provider. CopierPilot does not hold peer funds or provide a payment flow between Masters and Followers.

1. Scope and relationship with other terms

These Peer Copy Terms (the “Peer Copy Terms”) govern access to and use of the Peer Copy feature provided by CopierPilot (“CopierPilot”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

These Peer Copy Terms apply in addition to the CopierPilot Terms of Service, Risk Disclosure, Privacy Policy and Subscription Disclosure. A user acting as a Master must also accept the Master Participation Agreement. A user acting as a Follower must also accept the Follower Risk Acknowledgement and Consent.

If these Peer Copy Terms conflict with the Terms of Service, these Peer Copy Terms control only for the Peer Copy feature. The Risk Disclosure explains material trading, execution, automation and technology risks but does not replace contractual obligations. Mandatory law always prevails.

By first assuming a Master or Follower role, activating or participating in a Peer Copy relationship, or clicking to accept these Peer Copy Terms, you agree to them. Role-specific acceptance may be required again after a material change. CopierPilot may record the applicable document version and relationship activation details for evidence and security purposes.

2. Definitions

  • Active Relationship: a Peer Copy relationship that has been accepted and activated by the Master and is capable of producing Copy Instructions, whether currently running or temporarily paused.
  • Account Protection: mandatory platform controls and Follower-configured controls that may hold an instruction, prevent execution, close positions where expressly configured, or pause copying.
  • Connected Account: a broker, platform or account-provider account connected to CopierPilot through a supported connection method.
  • Copy Instruction: an instruction produced after Source activity has been transformed using the selected sizing, symbol mapping, filters, execution settings and route configuration.
  • Destination: the Follower’s own Connected Account selected to receive Copy Instructions.
  • Follower: a user who independently requests private Peer Copy access and configures a Destination for a particular relationship.
  • Invite Key: a private access credential generated when a Master makes a Source available for Peer Copy.
  • Master: a user who makes one of their own Sources privately available for Peer Copy. “Master” is a technical product role name only.
  • Peer Copy: the limited private feature through which activity from a Master’s Source may be copied to a Follower’s own Destination.
  • Relationship: one configured Peer Copy connection between one specified Source and one specified Destination.
  • Source: the Master’s Connected Account from which relevant trading activity is detected for the Relationship.

3. What Peer Copy is

Peer Copy is software infrastructure for a private connection between users who already know or have independently found each other outside CopierPilot. It supports:

  • private access requests using an Invite Key and associated Master email address;
  • configuration of a Source-to-Destination route;
  • deterministic sizing, symbol, filter and execution settings;
  • Account Protection and hold-for-confirmation controls;
  • connection, route and operational-status monitoring; and
  • transmission of Copy Instructions through supported broker or platform connections.

Peer Copy is part of the wider CopierPilot platform. It is not a standalone investment product and does not transfer ownership of, or withdrawal authority over, a broker account.

4. What Peer Copy is not

Peer Copy is not:

  • a public Master directory, marketplace, ranking, leaderboard or discovery service;
  • a service through which CopierPilot introduces, recommends, selects, rates, verifies or approves a Master or Follower;
  • a payment, billing or payout system between Masters and Followers;
  • a paid signal, subscription, managed-account or commercial community feature;
  • a guarantee that the Follower receives the same price, timing, size, execution or result as the Master;
  • a guarantee of profit, capital protection, provider permission or legal compliance; or
  • a transfer of control over the Follower’s Connected Account to the Master.

The technical fact that a Master cannot access or directly configure a Follower’s broker account does not by itself determine how a particular activity may be characterised under applicable law. Users remain responsible for checking the rules relevant to them.

5. Eligibility and permitted use

You may use Peer Copy only if:

  • you meet the eligibility requirements in the Terms of Service;
  • your use is private, personal and non-commercial;
  • every Connected Account you use is owned, controlled or validly authorised by you;
  • your broker, platform, prop firm or account provider permits the relevant copying and automation;
  • your participation is lawful in each place relevant to you and does not require an authorisation that you do not hold; and
  • you comply with these Peer Copy Terms and the applicable role-specific agreement.

CopierPilot may restrict Peer Copy by country, residence, business location, broker, platform, account type, instrument, feature or user where reasonably necessary for legal, security, technical or risk reasons. You must not circumvent a restriction through false information, another person’s identity, a virtual private network or another technical method.

6. Private access and Invite Keys

A Master may make a Source available for Peer Copy. Doing so generates an Invite Key. Making a Source available does not create a public listing, search result or publication status.

The Master provides the Invite Key and the Master’s own associated email address directly to the intended Follower through a private channel outside CopierPilot. The Follower must enter both items to make a targeted request against the relevant Source record.

Invite Keys are confidential access credentials. A Master must:

  • share a key only with intended private contacts;
  • not publish, sell, rent, advertise or mass-distribute a key;
  • protect the key from unauthorised access;
  • revoke or regenerate it promptly if exposure or misuse is suspected; and
  • not use a key to build an open or commercially promoted network.

A Follower must not guess, scrape, test, trade, resell or distribute Invite Keys or use a key provided for another person without permission.

Invite Keys expire after 7 days by default unless revoked or rotated earlier. CopierPilot may expire, rotate, revoke, rate-limit or disable an Invite Key to protect users, investigate misuse or maintain the Service. Expiry of the original key does not end an already activated Relationship. Possession of a valid key does not create a right to activation.

7. Follower-initiated setup

The Follower initiates the Relationship by entering the Invite Key and associated Master email address. Before a Relationship can become active, the Follower must independently configure at least:

  • the Follower’s own Destination;
  • the sizing method and parameters;
  • supported symbol mapping and execution settings;
  • route filters;
  • mandatory and configurable risk limits;
  • Account Protection settings; and
  • any other required route information shown in the Service.

The Follower is responsible for reviewing the completed configuration before submitting it as ready. The Master does not review or approve the substance of the Follower’s sizing, protection or risk settings and is not responsible for configuring them.

A Relationship that is still being configured does not count against the Master’s active capacity. The Service may show whether capacity appears available, but capacity can change before activation.

8. Master acceptance and activation

After the Follower completes the required setup, the Relationship enters a ready state. The Master may see that a request is ready and may accept and activate it in one action, or may refuse it.

The Master does not have a right to any Follower’s participation and is not required to accept a request. The Follower does not have a right to activation merely because a key was provided or a configuration was completed.

Copying can begin only after Master activation and any required system checks. The activation record may include the Relationship identifier, Source and Destination identifiers, parties, timestamp, applicable document versions and relevant security context.

9. Capacity limit

A Master may have no more than 50 Follower Relationships in Active or Paused state at the same time through Peer Copy.

For this limit:

  • a Relationship counts when it is activated;
  • a Relationship that is only being configured or waiting for Master action does not count;
  • a Relationship in Active or Paused state continues to count;
  • only an Ended or Terminated Relationship releases capacity; and
  • multiple Destinations used by the same Follower count as separate Relationships when separately activated.

The capacity limit is a product restriction only. It does not assess or verify a Master’s skill, strategy, suitability, honesty, experience or compliance.

CopierPilot may refuse new activations or suspend activation where required for safety, technical stability, abuse prevention or applicable requirements. The 50-Relationship limit applies across the Master’s Peer Copy participation.

10. The Master’s role and obligations

The Master makes one of their own Sources available for copying. The Master remains responsible for their own account, trades, strategy and communications.

The Master must:

  • use Peer Copy only within a small private non-commercial network;
  • provide accurate and non-misleading operational information;
  • avoid promises, guarantees or claims that trading is safe, profitable or suitable;
  • not present CopierPilot as approving or verifying the Master;
  • not request or receive a Follower’s broker credentials;
  • keep Invite Keys secure and manage access carefully;
  • comply with applicable broker, platform, prop-firm and local requirements; and
  • notify CopierPilot of suspected key misuse, commercialisation or unauthorised access.

The Master must not:

  • configure or change the Follower’s Destination, sizing, protection or risk settings;
  • access or seek access to the Follower’s capital, equity, margin, positions, trades, profit, loss or personal Analytics;
  • instruct CopierPilot to withdraw or transfer the Follower’s funds;
  • guarantee returns or identical execution;
  • publish or promote performance figures, testimonials, win rates or “verified” status in connection with Peer Copy;
  • use Peer Copy to recruit the public or operate a signal, copy-trading or managed-account business; or
  • charge, receive or arrange any prohibited consideration described in section 18.

A Master’s Source activity may change at any time. The Master is not required by CopierPilot to continue a strategy, maintain a risk level or give advance notice of each trading change, but remains responsible for truthful communications and compliance with these Terms.

11. The Follower’s role and obligations

The Follower independently decides whether to participate and selects and configures their own Destination.

The Follower must:

  • use only a Connected Account they own, control or are validly authorised to use;
  • assess the Master and strategy independently;
  • configure and review their own sizing, execution, protection and risk settings;
  • monitor their own account, copied trades, connection status and open positions;
  • maintain sufficient permissions, margin, connectivity and account status;
  • check applicable broker, platform, prop-firm and local requirements;
  • respond to confirmation requests within the available time where the Follower wishes an instruction to proceed; and
  • manage positions directly with the broker when CopierPilot is unavailable or intervention is required.

The Follower must not:

  • provide broker credentials to the Master;
  • treat CopierPilot’s acceptance of a connection as a recommendation of the Master;
  • assume that the Master knows the Follower’s account circumstances or is monitoring the Follower’s risk;
  • pay or arrange prohibited consideration for access to copied trades; or
  • rely on Account Protection as insurance or a guarantee against loss.

The Follower remains responsible for each trading and financial consequence in the Follower’s account, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Account ownership, control and funds

Each user retains their own relationship with their broker or account provider. The Follower’s Destination and funds remain under the Follower’s ownership and control, subject to the broker’s terms.

The Master does not receive:

  • the Follower’s broker login or withdrawal credentials;
  • authority to withdraw or transfer funds;
  • access to the Follower’s broker interface through CopierPilot;
  • authority to configure the Follower’s route or risk settings; or
  • contractual authority from CopierPilot to act on the Follower’s behalf.

CopierPilot does not hold trading funds and does not receive, safeguard, split or distribute payments between Master and Follower.

13. Information boundaries

CopierPilot applies role-based information boundaries intended to keep Follower account information private from the Master.

The Master may receive only the limited information reasonably required to manage the private technical Relationship, such as:

  • the Follower’s CopierPilot display identifier and, only where operationally needed, a masked account email;
  • request and Relationship status;
  • whether setup is in progress, ready, active, paused or ended;
  • connection health or route-operational status; and
  • capacity usage.

The Master must not receive through Peer Copy the Follower’s balance, equity, margin, positions, orders, trades, profit, loss, broker credentials or personal Analytics.

The Follower may receive the Master’s CopierPilot display identifier, the targeted Source label or masked identifier and operational status information. The Master’s full associated email is used as a private invite credential supplied outside CopierPilot; it is not searchable or publicly displayed. CopierPilot does not provide a public performance profile or verified performance statistics.

Users must not attempt to bypass these information boundaries, infer protected account information through technical probing or combine the Service with another method to gain unauthorised access.

14. Copying mechanics and automatic execution

After activation, CopierPilot may detect relevant Source activity, apply the Follower’s deterministic route settings, produce a Copy Instruction and transmit it to the Destination through the supported connection.

Except where a mandatory or configured control requires confirmation, a Copy Instruction may be transmitted automatically without separate approval for each trade.

CopierPilot does not delay an instruction to seek a more favourable market price, time or trading venue. Processing may nevertheless be delayed by transformation, connectivity, fixed controls, Follower-configured controls, security checks, account-state queries, provider conditions or technical failure.

The Master’s Source event and the Follower’s Destination execution are separate events. Prices, timing, volume, margin, symbol specifications, liquidity and outcomes may differ. An instruction may be rejected, partially filled, duplicated, delayed or not executed.

15. Mandatory platform confirmation controls

The current Peer Copy product applies mandatory platform thresholds to the portion of an incoming Copy Instruction that increases net exposure. The Follower may make these controls stricter but may not disable or weaken them.

15.1 Per-trade new-exposure threshold

A Copy Instruction is held for Follower confirmation when the new notional exposure exceeds the applicable threshold:

Instrument category CopierPilot reference leverage Confirmation threshold
Major forex 30 6 times current equity
Minor forex, gold and major indices 20 5 times current equity
Other commodities and minor indices 10 2.5 times current equity
Individual equity CFDs 5 1.25 times current equity
Crypto CFDs 2 0.5 times current equity

Only categories actually supported by CopierPilot apply. The reference leverage is a CopierPilot product parameter and is not necessarily the leverage offered by the Follower’s broker.

15.2 Cumulative threshold

A Copy Instruction is also held where total net notional exposure, including the new exposure created by the instruction, would exceed 15 times current equity.

These thresholds are confirmation controls, not maximum-loss limits. They do not show the amount that can be lost and do not prevent a broker from applying stricter margin or liquidation rules.

16. Net-exposure and risk-reducing instructions

CopierPilot uses a hedge-aware net-exposure calculation intended to distinguish activity that increases exposure from activity that reduces an existing position.

An instruction assessed as entirely closing or genuinely reducing net exposure is intended to pass without being held by the risk-increasing thresholds. Where an instruction crosses through zero and creates exposure in the opposite direction, only the portion beyond zero is treated as new exposure.

This treatment does not guarantee that an instruction is economically risk-free. Market movement, execution, mapping, gaps, partial fills and broker behaviour can cause the actual result to differ from the software assessment.

17. Follower-configured Account Protection

The Follower may configure additional Account Protection rules. Depending on the rule and selected action, CopierPilot may:

  • hold an incoming Copy Instruction for confirmation;
  • not transmit the instruction;
  • pause future copying;
  • attempt to close specified positions where the Follower expressly configured that action; or
  • display a warning or status event.

Current categories may include limits relating to positions per symbol and direction, volume escalation, adding to a losing position, newly copied instruments, daily loss, drawdown, losing streak, an absolute equity floor and a trading window.

Initial launch defaults are: maximum 3 positions per symbol/direction; martingale-factor trigger 2×; adding to a losing position at 30 pips; new-instrument protection ON; daily realised-loss trigger −5%; high-water-mark drawdown trigger −25%; and losing-streak trigger 4. The equity floor has no default and the trading window is OFF by default. If the user later enables a trading window, the default outside-window action is to pause new Copy Instructions. These defaults are product settings, not personal recommendations. The Follower may make configurable controls stricter and remains responsible for reviewing them.

18. Hold-for-confirmation

When a control triggers hold-for-confirmation, CopierPilot may send an in-app notification showing the relevant reason or reasons. The instruction is not transmitted unless valid confirmation is received within the available window and the relevant state is successfully rechecked.

If no valid response is received in time, the account-state query fails, the connection is unavailable or another required check cannot be completed, the instruction is not executed through Peer Copy.

During the waiting period, price, equity, margin, exposure and provider conditions may change. Confirmation does not guarantee execution. An instruction may still be rejected, delayed, partially filled or execute differently.

The confirmation window is 120 seconds. If no valid response is received within that window, the instruction is not executed. Users accept that a confirmation control can cause a trade to be missed.

19. Permanent non-commercial rule

Peer Copy is permanently non-commercial under the current product model. No Master, Follower or other user may request, offer, promise, pay, receive, facilitate or arrange any direct or indirect consideration connected with:

  • access to an Invite Key;
  • access to copied trades or a Master’s Source activity;
  • activation or continuation of a Relationship;
  • participation in a Peer Copy network;
  • the number, profitability or volume of copied trades; or
  • another product, membership or service where the economic purpose is to purchase or sell Peer Copy access.

Prohibited consideration includes, without limitation:

  • recurring or one-off subscription fees;
  • fixed access fees;
  • performance fees or profit sharing;
  • commissions or revenue share;
  • membership, coaching or community fees tied to Peer Copy access;
  • gifts, rebates, credits or non-cash benefits exchanged for access;
  • referral payments linked to copied trading; and
  • sale, rental or transfer of Invite Keys.

It is irrelevant whether the payment or arrangement occurs inside or outside CopierPilot or is described using another name.

A platform subscription paid to CopierPilot for use of CopierPilot is not consideration between Master and Follower. Peer Copy itself carries no separate peer fee.

20. Promotion and communications

Users must not publicly promote Peer Copy as a paid signal, managed-account, commercial copy-trading or investment service.

A Master must not use CopierPilot branding, screenshots, status information or connection access to claim that CopierPilot has endorsed, verified or approved the Master or the Master’s performance.

Communications relating to a Relationship must be accurate and must not include:

  • guaranteed or misleading profit claims;
  • claims that loss is prevented or that Account Protection makes trading safe;
  • performance figures, testimonials, rankings or “verified” labels used to recruit Followers;
  • pressure to increase sizing, remove protection or ignore broker or prop-firm rules; or
  • an offer or request for prohibited consideration.

Peer Copy provides system-generated operational messages only at launch and does not provide free-text chat, comments or user-to-user messaging. CopierPilot does not monitor all communications outside the Service and cannot guarantee that another user’s statements are accurate.

21. Platform subscription

The ordinary CopierPilot platform subscription is separate from Peer Copy participation. CopierPilot charges USD 7.95 per Billable Connected Account per month. A Billable Connected Account is a unique trading account added to and kept enabled in the paid CopierPilot account list; a route pause, inactivity or temporary disconnection does not by itself stop billing. The detailed billing cycle is described in the Subscription Disclosure and checkout.

The same platform subscription principles apply whether a Connected Account is used for own-account copying, Peer Copy, Analytics or another supported function. Peer Copy does not create a fee payable by the Follower to the Master or by the Master to the Follower.

22. Brokers, platforms and prop firms

Peer Copy depends on third-party brokers, trading platforms, account-side software, APIs, bridges, networks and account providers. Their separate terms and rules apply.

Technical compatibility or availability through CopierPilot does not mean a broker, platform or prop firm permits Peer Copy, automation, expert advisers, APIs, hedging, cross-account copying or the user’s specific configuration.

Each user must check and continue to comply with relevant provider rules. CopierPilot is not responsible for a provider’s decision to reject an order, restrict or close an account, change its rules, discontinue access or treat copying as a breach of its terms, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

23. Pausing and ending a Relationship

The Follower may pause or end participation through available controls. The Master may pause, disable or end availability or an active Relationship. CopierPilot may also restrict, pause or end a Relationship under these Terms.

Pausing, disabling or ending a Relationship stops future Copy Instructions only. It does not automatically close positions already open in the Destination.

A position may be closed only through a separate express Follower action or directly through the broker, subject to execution and provider conditions. Users must review open positions and pending orders before pausing, disconnecting or ending a Relationship.

Pausing a Relationship does not release Master capacity. Capacity is released only when the system records the Relationship as Ended or Terminated. Historical records may be retained where reasonably required for security, dispute handling, compliance, accounting or legal obligations under the Privacy Policy.

24. Investigation and enforcement

CopierPilot may investigate suspected commercialisation, unauthorised access, public promotion, Invite Key abuse, data-boundary circumvention, misrepresentation or another material breach.

To protect users and evidence, CopierPilot may immediately pause a Relationship, disable an Invite Key, restrict a role or suspend an account while an investigation is pending.

Where appropriate, CopierPilot may request relevant factual information. Users must cooperate honestly and must not delete, alter or fabricate relevant evidence.

Confirmed commercial use of Peer Copy is a serious material breach and may result in permanent termination of the involved account or accounts, cancellation of Relationships and blocking of further Peer Copy access. Serious fraud, repeated circumvention, credential abuse or public sale of access may also result in permanent termination.

Where reasonably appropriate and legally permitted, CopierPilot may provide a brief reason and an internal opportunity to submit a factual explanation. CopierPilot may act without advance notice where delay could increase legal, security, financial or operational harm.

25. No recommendation, verification or reliance

CopierPilot does not perform due diligence on a Master’s skill, strategy, experience, character, legality, financial position or suitability for a Follower.

CopierPilot does not verify private performance statements and does not provide a public performance history, ranking, score or recommendation. A technical connection, available capacity, stable connection or long-running Relationship must not be treated as a quality or safety assessment.

Each Follower must make an independent decision and may need independent professional advice. Each Master is responsible for their own conduct and communications.

26. Risk and no guarantee

Trading and automated copying can cause rapid and substantial loss. Peer Copy adds risks associated with following another person, automatic execution, changes in strategy, differences between Source and Destination, delays, slippage, mapping, connection failure and limited information.

CopierPilot does not guarantee:

  • profit, capital preservation or suitability;
  • identical execution or results;
  • that a Copy Instruction will be sent, received or executed;
  • that a confirmation request will arrive or be acted on before market conditions change;
  • that a risk-reducing instruction will execute successfully;
  • uninterrupted access or accurate third-party data;
  • that a Master will continue a strategy or act consistently; or
  • that a user’s intended activity is permitted by a broker, provider or applicable law.

The Risk Disclosure forms an essential part of the information users must review before using Peer Copy.

27. Responsibility between users

Master and Follower are independent users of CopierPilot. These Peer Copy Terms do not create employment, partnership, joint venture or authority for one user to bind CopierPilot or the other user.

CopierPilot is not a party to private promises, representations, side agreements or communications between users. No side agreement can change CopierPilot’s rights or obligations without CopierPilot’s written agreement.

Nothing in these Peer Copy Terms authorises a Master to act as the Follower’s agent, receive Follower funds, access the Follower’s broker account or make legal commitments for the Follower.

28. Liability and mandatory rights

The liability provisions in the Terms of Service apply to Peer Copy. The Risk Disclosure describes material risks that users accept when using the feature.

To the extent permitted by law, CopierPilot is not responsible for losses caused by market movement, a Master’s strategy or conduct, a user’s configuration, provider action, private communications, prohibited payments or a user’s failure to monitor and manage their account.

Nothing in these Peer Copy Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. An unclear provision will not be interpreted to remove a mandatory right.

29. Changes to Peer Copy or these Terms

CopierPilot may modify, restrict or discontinue Peer Copy for security, legal, technical, provider, abuse-prevention, capacity or genuine product reasons.

Material changes to the role model, information boundaries, commercial prohibition, capacity limit, mandatory risk thresholds or confirmation behaviour require internal product and legal approval before implementation.

Where required, users will receive clear notice of a material change and be asked to accept updated terms before continuing to use the relevant role or feature. Consumer rights relating to material adverse changes remain unaffected.

30. Complaints, reports and contact

Users may report suspected commercialisation, Invite Key abuse, misleading claims, unauthorised access or another Peer Copy concern through the Contact page.

Questions or complaints about these Peer Copy Terms may be submitted through the same channel. CopierPilot may require reasonable identity and Relationship information before discussing account-specific matters.

31. Governing law and disputes

The governing-law and dispute provisions in the Terms of Service apply to these Peer Copy Terms. Mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights remain unaffected.

32. Entire Peer Copy agreement

These Peer Copy Terms, together with the Terms of Service, Risk Disclosure, applicable role-specific agreement, Privacy Policy and Subscription Disclosure, form the agreement governing use of Peer Copy.

Failure by CopierPilot to enforce a provision immediately is not a waiver. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

33. Acceptance

By accepting these Peer Copy Terms or using Peer Copy, you confirm that you understand and agree that:

  • Peer Copy is private, invite-only and non-commercial;
  • CopierPilot does not recommend or verify the other user;
  • copied trades may be transmitted automatically;
  • you retain responsibility for your own account, settings, monitoring and provider permissions;
  • Account Protection and confirmation controls do not guarantee loss prevention;
  • no payment or other consideration may be exchanged between Master and Follower; and
  • confirmed serious commercialisation or access abuse may lead to permanent loss of Peer Copy access or account termination.
