EOD Trailing Drawdown Guard
Track the current MLL and maintain a personal buffer above it.
Partial coverageTopstep’s MLL remains decisive. The Trading Combine’s hard rule is its real-time Maximum Loss Limit. It trails the end-of-day balance upward and counts unrealized P&L. Daily Loss is an optional session pause, not the same rule.
The MLL updates from the end-of-day balance but is monitored in real time. Once it reaches starting balance, it locks there permanently.
| Account | Profit Target | Maximum Loss Limit | Optional DLL | Consistency | Maximum size |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $50K Combine | $3,000 | $2,000Starts at $48,000 | $1,000 | Best day below 50% | 5 contracts / 50 micros |
| $100K Combine | $6,000 | $3,000Starts at $97,000 | $2,000 | Best day below 50% | 10 contracts / 100 micros |
| $150K Combine | $9,000 | $4,500Starts at $145,500 | $3,000 | Best day below 50% | 15 contracts / 150 micros |
Triggering a selected DLL flattens positions and blocks the rest of the session while the account stays eligible. Hitting the MLL causes liquidation and makes the Combine ineligible until reset.
CopierPilot therefore needs the current MLL and live equity, plus a personal dollar buffer above that floor.
